I went for the main branch at Keong Saik Road, as I read and heard that it always form long Q from 10am way before they open. If you are like me, want to try and hate to Q, I recommend weekday lunch time. I was there at 1.20pm and there is no Q!

The place is pretty small but they have this long bench sitting where you can view the grilling of Unagi. Look at them, they are so freshly grilled with charcoal.

Man Man Unagi Menu

What is the recommendation? Well, there several sets of choice for you to choose from. There is this set that allow you to taste of 3 different flavour of the unagi, there is set of inclusive of unagi liver and also unagi set that comes with Tamago.

I didn't try any of the above, instead, I order for the lady set, where there is crepe included with tamago. The rice amount is lesser and I think is suitable for people like me who don't consume much rice. And I order a Set for hub which seem to have more pieces of unagi as the one I ordered only have 3 pieces.

They have 3 different sauce and i prefer the spicy sauce to have them on top of my rice.

Our Orders

I order the lady set ($28.80) and hub order the Kabayaki Teishoku ($29.50) for our lunch.

It came with wasabi where you need to grin it yourself, the taste of the wasabi is very different from what we usually had in the Japanese Restaurant. Tasted Good!

The Unagi, I got to say The best Unagi I had in Singapore! It is been grilled to perfect and the sauce was just right. The only down side is, the unagi is pretty thin, the unagi is really nice and I feel the portion is not enough! Just want to stuff more unagi into mouth!

If you ask me if it worth the wait, I can only say the unaigi is nice but I just doesn't like waiting for more than 30mins.
