6 Days 5 Nights In London Itinerary – Part 2

Day 12 30 Nov 2016

On our 3rd day in London, we planned to Bicester Village outlet shopping. We head out early which cost 29 pound per trip per pax. If you intend to go make sure you buy since the train tickets cost more than $50 sgd two way. It was cold at 5 degree in bicester village and some ice cube was on the ground.

Prada ladies wallet selling at 240 pounds before tax refund, mont blanc mens wallet black one at 275 pounds and blue at 144 pounds.

Bought a coach trench coat for 199 pound and coach scarf for 99 pound, store has discount of  - 15% and tax refund at 12%. Prada card holder at 80 pound each before tax refund. Longchamp comestic pouch selling 16 pound before tax refund.

We bought the train tickets towards wembley stadium. We head down Wembley stadium for designer outlet shopping, okaley addias, nike, marks and spencer are available at this outlet.

We head down to goldmine for the famous London duck via train to waterloo station.

Honestly speaking, the duck is fat duck, the dishes we ordered are nice however, they are pretty oily for us.

Day 13 1 Dec 2016

 We intend to have breakfast at duck & waffle, however, it was full. Thus, do make advance booking Duck & Waffle, reservations are accepted up to 2 months in advance to one month. We manage to reserve on our last day in London.

We head to Big ben by taking bus from Leicester square, and decided to take the ferry toward the London & Tower bridge.

From tower bridge, we walk down to borough market, simply follow the google map. It is about 10 to 15 mins walk. There is a lot of food that is available for tasting. Try the salt beef. Their onions, mushroom are so nice. We bought some of them back they taste really good.

After borough market, we took train down to Westfield London for shopping. Alighted at Shepherd’s bush station.

Big boutique such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Mont Blanc, Tiffany & co, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Longchamp.

Day 14 2 Dec 2016


 We head down to bond street and walk down to harrods for some shopping. We visit the casino in Leicester Square.

We made a reservation at Heddon street once of the Gordon Ramsey restaurant for our dinner.







Day 15 3 Dec 2016

On our last day in London, we took bus from our apartment towards duck & waffle.

A must to order the Duck & Waffle, really taste good. The duck meat is very tender with crispy fat skin and waffle is very crispy yet soft.

We drop by the casino in Liecester square, visit 3 days we were able to redeem this 50 pound chip for free to bet on roulotte. One time try on your luck, they have minimum bet of 0.50 pound, give it a try to gamble oversea. Criteria, 18 years old and above, i got check every time I enter.

About tax refund

All shopping reciept  should comes with tax refund form if your spending is eligible for tax refund. Here are the steps to get your VAT refund.

  1. When you purchase goods, inform the retailer immediately that you wish to reclaim VAT. The retailer will give you a VAT Refund Form to complete and sign.
  2. Please ensure you complete the VAT Return Form. Such as name, passport number and signature. Some retailer did not fill for you.

  3. To reclaim VAT on goods that need to be packed into your check in baggage, go to Customs before Security. They will check and stamp your VAT Refund Form. To collect your refund visit a VAT refund desk.
  4. Go to the VAT refund desk, you can opt to refund in cash or credit card where at the retailer you already decided. Advise to refund via credit card.
  5. Do cater sufficient time as the refund counter will encounter long Q.
  6. To know more the location where the security and refund desk location go to heathrow.

Some branded goods are slightly cheaper in the airport.
